RMI

The Radio Magnetic Indicator shows the ADF needle pointed to the nearest NDB and VOR one pointed to the nearest VOR depending to the current position on the map.

Manage VFR flights. Flight Log is an tool to help pilots manage and analyze their flight distance and times.

Meteorology Layers

The Meteorology layers provides the current weather and is frequently updated based on global models and data from more than 40,000 weather stations worldwide.

 

Available Meteorology Layers: Cloud layer from dataset source Aqua in operation layer/band true color, Temperature, Precipitation, Pressure, Wind speed

 

The availability of the meteorology layers are limited to 7,200 treshold and 600 calls/1min.

Distance Measurement

The distance measurement tool is using the haversine formula to calculate the great-circle distance between two points that is the shortest distance over the earth’s surface, giving an as-the-crow-flies distance between the points.

 

The haversine formula: hav (d/r) = hav(φ2 - φ1) + cos(φ1) cos(φ2) hav(λ2 - λ1). Once the linestring is set, the elevation profile will be displayed with the following datas: elevation in feet and meters,

 

latitude/longitude and its distance leg and the total distance in nautical miles and kilometers.

Pilot Lessons

The Pilot Lessons Module is one of the major components of this platform by communicates verbally with an artificial intelligence operator for realtime interactive simulations like departure/approach VFR/IFR procedures. Google Chrome is required.

Manage VFR flights. Flight Log is an tool to help pilots manage and analyze their flight distance and times. Features: individual settings of true airspeed; interactive map to set waypoints to worldwide aerodromes and navaids or set free waypoints, declination/VAR provided by NOAA National Geophysical Data Center determined at origin position automatically, weather conditions like wind direction and speed are based on realtime data between two waypoints, true course TC, time leg, distance in nautical miles, ground speed GS, variation VAR, magnetic course MC, wind correction angel WCA/L, magnet heading MH.

The flight log has the ability to manage your flight by adding and remove waypoints and reverse your flight plan from origin to destination and vice versa. Elevation Profile of route legs in feets/nautical miles. Completion of flight log / overview. IFR flight log is being planned
